Our family reunion was held and about 90 people stayed at Trout Creek. Michigan has made a fantastic impression on us! Even after a full week, there was not enough time to do everything. The area here is gorgeous & we are so glad we were able to enjoy it! Donart Family, July 16, 2010.
What a beautiful vacation. This is our families 3rd time here. Our teenage sons loved the rafting, the golf and our entire families trip to the Boyne Highlands Zip Line! What a great experience!! Northward bound
Heavenly sight
enclosed by the beauty of pines dressed in white
to the top of the mitten is where we will drive
anticipated excitement as we finally arrive
back to a place where the pace is slowed down
with quaint little stores in a Christmas lit town
serene are the walks on a snow laden trail
when up pops a snowman where the snowmobiles sail
on top of a mountain starts the New Years parade
as skiers with torch lights dance down as their trade
at night in the hot tub surrounded by snow
the coolness of powder floats down in a row
our last night inside all cozy and warm
the fireplace glowing as we watch the snow storm
Enjoy Our Pools!
We are very disappointed...to have to leave so soon! We came for a long 4 day weekend. There is so much to do around here and not enough time. We spent one day on Mackinac Island and another hanging out on Lake Michigan. This is a beautiful place and we are coming back in the winter to see how equally beautiful and fun it is here with snow on the ground! Thanks for a wonderful time and for being so accommodating. This was our first time staying at Trout Creek but it won't be our last! We had a great time! We came up with friends who have been coming here for years. Our son and his friend skied at Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob. My husband, daughter and I hung out at the lodge the first day and explored Harbor Springs and Petoskey. The accommodations here are great! The beds and furniture are all comfy. The kitchen is stocked with everything we could possibly need. The view is great! We stayed for 7 nights in August for a couples golf trip. We had a great time and Trout Creek is close to some of the best golf in the country. Great people at this resort...they did everything to make our trip great. Look no further! October...comments posted on Trip Advisor website
