Morel Mushroom Hunting in Northern Michigan
Morel Mushroom Hunting is a classic Northern Michigan pastime. In the Spring, typically in mid to late May, Morel mushrooms start to pop up all over the north. Hordes of mushroomers take to the forest in search of these delectable treats that are sure to show up in a number of springtime meals.
