Northern Michigan has endless trail systems that mountain bikers will love to explore and Trout Creek is located right in the heart of it. Whether you want to travel up to Cross Village and bike from there or just cross the street to use the newly designed mountain biking courses at Boyne Highlands, you will find the trails you have been looking for here in Northern Michigan.

We are surrounded by beautiful State Parks. The Petoskey State Park is 5.5 miles from our front door and Wilderness State Park is 27 miles...located only 11 miles west of Mackinaw City. Both are ideal for an afternoon bike ride. Petoskey State Park is geared for a family bike ride where as Wilderness State Park has a number of backwoods trails that are well suited for more adventurous mountain biking.

The Little Traverse Wheelway is another popular family biking destination. Click on the link and watch the beautiful Video of the Wheelway...you will definitely want to make plans for your vacation with us this summer. This is a wonderful 26 mile stretch running between Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Charlevoix. This path is paved which makes it one of the finest and safest family bike routes in Northern Michigan. This trail will take you along the shores of Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan where you will find small parks and rest stops every so often to stop and enjoy the beauty of this area.
