Job description

We are looking for a Front Desk Specialist to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects affiliated with Front Desk operations. Front Desk Specialists responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, providing information about rooms, rates and amenities, group sales, office hours and staff scheduling, owner communication, and reservation auditing. If you have a knack for customer service, strong communication and organizational skills, and work experience in the hospitality industry, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Perform check-in and check-out tasks
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
  • Night Audits – CC Reconciliation, Deposits, Reservations
  • Golf and Group Package Coordination
  • Supply Purchasing
  • Managing Web Content and distribution of monthly electronic newsletters

Skills

  • Guest service work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
  • Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, and Excel are required 
  • Proficient in reservation management software and technology
  • Positive attitude and passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
