Belvedere Golf Club

41 minutes from Trout Creek, Belvedere Golf Club is located in Charlevoix and is one of Michigan’s historic golf venues. Designed in 1925 by famed architect William Watson. In 2017, this historic club restored the popular course bringing back many of the strategies that Watson originally intended.

“One of the great highlights of golf…is the discovery of the hidden gems along the way. Go to Ireland for Ballybunion and if you are lucky you will happen upon the Dukes. Go to St. Andrews for the Old Course and if you’re lucky you will be pointed toward Crail. Go to Northern Michigan for Bay Harbor and if you are very lucky you will tumble onto Belvedere”

– Brian Hewitt, Global Golf Post

Belvedere invites you to experience this historic course like so many other legends of the game have. Legendary golfers like Bobby Jones, Gene Sarazen, Walter Hagen, Tommy Armour, Sam Snead, Ken Venturi and Tom Watson have all been part of the unique history of this course.

If you are heading to northern Michigan on a golf trip, make sure to experience Belvedere Golf Club. Take a trip back in time and play the game the way it was meant to be played.
